Saturday April 29, 2006 The 40 + squad ran a Striders record of 3:50.32 (previous record - 3:54.79) to place 10th out of 10 teams in a very competitive field (the first three teams ran sub-3:30). 3:50.32 works out to an average split of 57.6 - that's moving !
All around a terrific weekend for the Pineland Striders - we were one of only 3 clubs to compete in both Masters 4 x 400's (along with Shore AC and Mass Velocity). Masters Indoors series at Swarthmore College. Bob Cannava Finishes 50th Marathon, Stevenson and Cannava BQ in Philly
Bob Cannava completed his 50th marathon with a time of 3:32:22 (chip time) on November 20th in the
12th Annual Philadelphia Marathon.

Club President Ian Stevenson and Bob Cannava ran the entire Philadelphia Marathon together with a time of 3:32:22 (chip time).
This qualified both for the Boston Marathon. No word yet on whether either of them is planning on running in Boston.
Carolyn Bujak Wins Age Class in Baltimore Marathon
Carolyn Bujak gave an amazing performance in the Baltimore Marathon to win her age catagory. Bujak crossed the
finish line with a 3:36:17 (chip time) beating her nearest competitor by over three minutes.
El Hamersly Finishes Three Marathons in 2 Months
When El Hamersly decides to do something, he does it big! Having never completed a marathon before, El decided to do
three of them. His first, the Johnstown Marathon in Johnstown, PA, a tough hilly course was on October 2. His
second was in Baltimore, just two weeks later on October 15, and his third was in Philly, barely a month after Baltimore.
