El Hamersly Finishes Three Marathons in 2 Months

When El Hamersly decides to do something, he does it big! Having never completed a marathon before, El decided to do three of them. His first, the Johnstown Marathon in Johnstown, PA, a tough hilly course was on October 2. His second was in Baltimore, just two weeks later on October 15, and his third was in Philly, barely a month after Baltimore.

Striders were surprised, but not that surprised, that El had run Johnstown without telling anyone, and at the same time was cautioning the rest of us not to run too much during our taper. Go figure.

Way to go El!
