Dear Fellow Runner,

The Pineland Striders is a running club serving primarily the Burlington and Camden County areas, with the majority of members coming from the Medford, Mt. Laurel, Marlton and surrounding communities. Our purpose is to provide an organization where runners can meet with other runners of all abilities to train, exchange information, provide support and develop fellowship and camaraderie.

To fulfill this purpose, we have weekly scheduled training runs, meetings featuring guest speakers, and various other programs, events and social get-togethers throughout the year. In the past we have had programs presented by experts in sports psychology, nutrition, massage therapy, exercise physiology, running injuries, and cardiac rehabilitation through running.

We sponsor two of the premier road races in South Jersey: the Independence 5K/10K the Saturday before each 4th of July at Shawnee High School in Medford which benefits the Precious Gems Memorial and the Holiday 4 Mile, usually the first Saturday in December at Vaughan Hall in Medford Lakes which benefits local scholarships. Both of these events are held on certified courses. There are also "Boxing Day" and "Predict" 5K races for members.

The Pineland Striders is a USATF member club, which means all of our events are sanctioned by the association. We currently have over 200 members including families as well as individuals. All runners are welcome regardless of experience or ability. We look forward to having you join us!
