A few notes from Gary on Tyler
What a difference a year makes. Last year we arrived in Media, PA and ran in bone freezing temperatures. This year it was shorts and tank tops! It was looking like we wouldn't have enough for a team score for the Off-Road Series but by race day we ended up with 5 men and 3 ladies making the trip. Actually Lisa made 2 trips that day but I will leave that for her to talk about and show the bruises. One day a year the Arboretum shuts off the electricity to the Jurassic Park fence and opens it up for this race. The race course is mostly gentle rolling hills. There are only a couple short steep rises (nothing like a Ron Horn hill) and it crosses a tiny stream of ankle deep water a couple times. As far as trail difficulty goes I would rate it only a 3 on the "Garyometer".
